Facilitator Information
Pay Structure
At Bright Haven, we understand that healing isn’t driven by money, however, we do believe in equal reciprocity and energy exchange for the time, effort and energy we’ve put into creating a clean and sacred space, as well as our part in marketing the events.
For our classes, we ask for a nonrefundable deposit of $30 an hour to hold the space, plus 30% of the ticket profits. A card will be secured at the time of deposit. Your deposit will go towards the 30% fee. If ticket sales are less than the amount of the deposit, you will not owe us anything more. Essentially, our fee is: $30 an hour or 30%, whichever is greater.
Full day retreats are $400 per day, $750 for a full weekend. Please reach out directly to schedule this.
You can secure your spot by purchasing however many hours you need below. Please see our scheduling calendar HERE to find an available day and time. If your event is 3 hours, please set quantity to “3”. If you need extra time beyond 30 minutes before and after to set up and clean up, please include this in your hours. Your time will not be held until a deposit is received. In the event of cancellation, your deposit can be used to secure a different day and time in the future and we will handle ticket refunds as necessary.
Rental Rules and Requirements
We try to be as flexible, respectful and accommodating as possible for anything you may need for your class. We only ask that we are given the same back. Please adhere to the follow rules of conduct:
No alcohol, firearms or weapons on the premises.
No use of the main house or yard.
Be respectful of all farm animals. Do not feed or attempt to pet animals without permission from BHF staff.
Clean up after yourselves and those in attendance of your class. There will be a $100 cleaning fee charged to the card on file if space is not left the way it was found.
Any damaged or broken items are subject to charge.
No violations of city, state and federal law, including noise ordinances. Quiet time is 10pm during the week at 11pm on weekends.
Be respectful of the land. Do not litter or alter anything on the land (breaking branches, digging holes, removing stones, etc) without speaking to us first.
No starting fires without BFH staff present or informed.
Hold a clean and sacred container- no opening portals, altering any of the existing vortexes or calling in any beings that are not in alignment with this land and the beings that are already here.
Marketing and Ticketing Protocols
Part of our service includes marketing your event on all of our channels, including email, social media and our website. We ask that you please create and send us any and all relevant copy and images through the form on this page for your event so we can easily post. The following is our preference for how we run class events:
Bright Haven Farm will ticket through our website. This will include email automation to send relevant information to attending guests including address, parking, what to bring to class etc. Automatic forms can be created upon checkout if needed as well. (for example- gathering birth information to create a natal chart for class)
Facilitator will inform Bright Haven Farm if any payments are received via venmo, cashapp or cash.
If facilitator offers free or discounted tickets to a guest, including raffle winners and sliding scale, this will be deducted from facilitator’s percentage and not Bright Haven Farm. BHF’s 30% accounts for full priced tickets. We have a small scholarship that can be discussed on a case by case basis.
If ticket sales exceed deposit price, 70% of profits will be paid back to the facilitator upon completion of the class.
If facilitator creates a facebook event, they will add Bright Haven Farm and Wendy Warren Mattingly as a co-host.
Facilitator will include mention of Bright Haven Farm in any marketing copy or video.
If facilitator would like Bright Haven Farm to handle all writing of event copy, graphics creation and marketing, ticketing fee will increase to 40%.
