A prayer bundle, or despacho, is a medicine bundle that enlists extra support from the universe to conspire on behalf of a business to help it thrive. It is made by the key decision-maker of a business or with his or her permission.
This is a unique amulet prayer bundle that is only made once for a new or existing business, or when a business is significantly modified perhaps with new management, a new product line or a new mission statement. And unlike most prayer bundles, this one doesn’t get burned. Instead, it is buried near the entrance of a business or given a permanent home, a place of honor, within the business.
The bundle is made by taking various “ingredients” and making a beautiful mandala with them. Each ingredient is a prayer to a different spirt. For instance, cotton balls represent clouds, animal crackers represent the animals of the earth.
After we make our bundles, Wendy will do a brief drumming to connect us with the energy of the despacho and of prosperity.
All ingredients will be provided, however, if you’d like to bring anything of sentimental value from your own home, such as homegrown lavender or a small totem, please do so. Please bring a beautiful 24x24 piece of fabric to wrap the bundle.
The ingredients list is as follows:
Piece of beautiful fabric, approx. 24” x 24” – make prayer bundle in center allowing
enough fabric on all four sides to fold over prayer bundle when complete.
Sugar for sweetness and love.
Lavendar for cleansing.
